This short trip allows you to enjoy a part of the beautiful and fascinating Inca Trail without having to camp. This short version is right for you if you do not wish to do a long trek (e.g. for physical reasons). The trek starts at the Km 104 and follows the road for 6 hours going up to a view point giving you the most spectacular views. Mixing nature with culture; you can observe impressive landscapes, flora, fauna, a variety of microclimates and also archaeological sites like Chachabamba and Wiñaywayna.
Then you will continue and climb up to Intipunku. Finally after 45 minutes of walking you will have a spectacular view of the Sanctuary Gate. You will then climb down to Aguas Calientes and go to your hotel.
After one nights relaxing sleep in a comfortable hotel we will wake up at dawn to see the impressive archaeological complex that is Machu Picchu. You will have a guided tour of the ruins for approximately 3 hours with loads of time to explore on your own afterwards. When you're ready you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for some lunch. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Cusco, upon arrival we will transfer you to your Hotel.
