Day 1: Welcome to Cusco!

• Airport transfer to your hotel
• Free time to acclimate
• Briefing for the Inca Trail at 18:30 hrs

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas

• Pick up at 8 a.m.
• Visit El Mirador, Pisac ruins, and market
• Lunch in Urubamba
• Explore Ollantaytambo ruins

Entrance Tickets: All included

Day 3: Cusco – Piskakucho KM 82 – Llactapata – Ayapata

• Pick-up and drive to Km 82
• Start the Inca Trail
• Camp at Ayapata (3300 meters)

Walking distance: 8.7 miles/14 km (6-7 hours)
Campsite altitude: 3300 meters
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Day 4: Dead Woman’s Pass – Runcuraccay Pass – Chaquiccocha

• Hike to Dead Woman’s Pass (4215 meters)
• Descend to Chaquicocha (3600 meters)

Walking distance: 9.94 miles/16 km (7-8 hours)
Campsite altitude: 3600 meters
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Day 5: Chaquiccocha – Wiñaywayna

• Trek through Cloud Forest
• Visit Phuyupatamarka and Intipata
• Camp near Wiñay Wayna

Walking distance: 6.2 miles/10 km (5 hours)
Campsite altitude: 2600 meters
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Day 6: Sun Gate – Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco

• Early start to Sun Gate
• Guided tour of Machu Picchu
• Return to Cusco by train and bus

Considered: The most exciting and magical day
Area: High Cloud and Subtropical Forest
Meals: Breakfast

Day 7: Rainbow Mountain

• Pick up at 4:00 – 4:30 am
• Hike to Rainbow Mountain
• Descend to Red Valley
• Return to Cusco by 5:30 – 6:00 pm

Day 8: Cusco – Puno Bus

• Transfer to the bus station
• Full-day bus ride to Puno

Day 9: Lake Titicaca and Homestay in Amantani Island

• Boat tour to Uros and Amantani islands
• Homestay with a local family

Day 10: Taquile Island & Return to Puno

• Boat to Taquile Island
• Explore the island and enjoy lunch
