3-Day Inca Jungle Adventure to Machu Picchu

Recommended Months: April to October – dry season, with clear skies, lower rainfall, and optimal trekking and outdoor conditions.
DAY 1: Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria – Santa Teresa
Activities: Biking / Optional Rafting
Pickup: 6:00 a.m. from your Cusco hotel.
Route: Travel through the Sacred Valley to Abra Málaga (4,350 m / 14,271 ft), the starting point for your mountain biking descent.
Adventure: Descend approximately 65 km / 40 miles over 3.5–4 hours, crossing small rivers, cloud forests, and transitioning from snow-capped peaks to tropical landscapes.
Lunch Stop: Santa Maria (1,200 m / 3,937 ft) – enjoy a hearty meal and optional whitewater rafting on the Vilcanota River.
Overnight Accommodation: Eco Terra Lodge in Santa Teresa.
