Foreign and Peruvian passengers without residency in Peru are exempt from paying the General Sales Tax (IGV). To qualify, travelers must present their original passport and the Andean Migration Card (TAM) at each hotel included in the itinerary.
For travelers from Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Chile, a passport or national identity card is accepted. In all cases, the entry date into Peru must not exceed 60 days prior to hotel check-in.
