**DAY 01: Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake – Sky Camp**

Begin your adventure with Machu Picchu Trek as we pick you up from your Cusco accommodation at 4:00 a.m. A two-hour journey leads to a quick breakfast in Mollepata. Our cozy transportation ensures a comfortable ride, complete with blankets for a few extra minutes of sleep. After breakfast, another hour takes us to Challacancha, the trek’s starting point.
Meet our muleteers and cooks for a final luggage check before embarking on a relatively easy three-hour hike to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), our first camp. The trail offers stunning views of glaciers and a deep valley, with an ancient Inca water channel accompanying us. A visit to Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 ft) in the afternoon reveals its turquoise beauty against a snowy backdrop. Return to Sky Camp for dinner and a night of stargazing.
**DAY 02: Salkantay Pass – Huayracmachay – Collpapampa (Mountain Sky View)**
*Highlight of the day:* Witnessing the energy and power of the gigantic Salkantay Mountain.
Wake up to the first rays and the majestic Apu Salkantay. After a nutritious breakfast, embark on a 7 km trek to the challenging Salkantay Pass (4,630 m / 15,190 ft). The ascent along the “path of the 7 snakes” leads to breathtaking views of surrounding valleys and the imposing Salkantay mountain. Descend to Huayracmachay (3,850 m / 12,631 ft) for lunch, entering the edge of the “cloud forest.” A 9.5 km hike through vibrant rainforest reveals a swift transition from the Andes to the Amazon. Reach Collpapampa for a hearty meal and a night at the exclusive Mountain Sky View Campsite.
**DAY 03: Collpapampa – La Playa – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes**

Wake up at 6:00 a.m. for breakfast before a 5-hour hike to La Playa through the Santa Teresa valley. Enjoy the lush landscape, spotting rivers, orchids, coffee, banana, and avocado plantations. After lunch at La Playa, board a private transport to Hidroelectrica. Hike alongside the tracks, surrounded by vegetation, or take a train to Aguas Calientes. **DAY 04: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco**
